Thesis
Wealth management UX in Europe was stuck between legacy banking apps and crypto-native dashboards. Finary could become the modern European net-worth layer.
At the time, tracking "everything I own" still felt fragmented: one bank app, one broker, one insurance wrapper, maybe a crypto exchange, plus a spreadsheet for the rest. US players had pushed harder on consumer wealth UX. Europe had the savings culture - and a weaker product surface.
Finary's opening was obvious in hindsight: aggregate assets, make allocation readable, and turn passive awareness into an actual wealth product.
Why this mattered
- Consumer finance loyalty moves to the interface people open every week.
- Europe's retail investor base was ready for better tools, not more PDFs.
- A local leader can win trust, distribution, and product nuance that imports miss.
The bet
Finary is a bet on the European wealth cockpit: one place to see and steer net worth, built for European assets and European users.
If that layer becomes default, it becomes the European leader in consumer wealth UX - not another bank feature buried three menus deep.
